Bubbles and drops - workshop with Tarek Atoui

The Museum of Modern Art in Warsaw invites children and their caregivers to an unusual sound workshop led by renowned artist and composer Tarek Atoui and music educator Joanna Bronisławska (Asi Mina).

During the workshop, participants will have the opportunity to experiment with sound and water, discovering how the power of water can make objects vibrate. Through the use of underwater microphones, we will learn how to listen to sounds in water, and consider the differences between sound in water and sound in air. We will look for nuances, such as water droplets or air bubbles, and explore together how to reproduce and amplify these sounds.

The finale of the workshop will be a unique public performance of an improvised piece that participants will create together during the class. This is a unique opportunity to share the results of the joint work and discover the magic of live sounds. The show will take place on the same day at 15:00, we invite you to participate!
